hard to tell from the pic. get a clearer shot of the ceramic. Dont worry about the threads we dont need to see them. From here it looks to be a little dark ( too rich or too cold a plug) is it wet?

part of the L that goes over the electrode has melted

And the electrode looks way too short. Is it burned off? If so, I'd vote for detonation, but that picture is pretty fuzzy.

Mine have done that from detonation and preignition, although the preignition also shattered the ceramic insulator, while the detonation left it intact. How's your compression and leakdown?

those look like some stock 5s or 6s, those look way too hot for your boosted car, probably why the arm is missing, mine did that once 2

using 1 step colder plugs running 17 degrees at 11.5 psi a/f around 12.0
this is only hapenning in one cylinder
lost about 10 psi compression in it
have cp pistons eagle rods and fully built head

your getting detonation...how much timing does that motor run stock? do they like more or less than a, lets say gsr? cause im into dohc's and thats alot of timing

base timing is 16 degrees, has always been fine for 6 months now this #4 cylinder is messing up

That may seem like a decent amount for a gsr motor, but not for the d-series, 17 degrees is pretty normal. Probably was an injector failure.
