what difference do the color of the tops of DSM 450 injectors say about the injectors? Some DSM injectors are red tops, blue tops, or black tops (etc). What do the colors signify? What is prefered?

90-99 dsm injectors from a 5spd turbo are all the same...all 450cc. The 95+ had a different spray pattern..but other then that they are identical.

The auto turbo injectors are smaller, 390cc if i recall (correct me if im wrong).

They also had 510cc injectors on the jdm cyclone (which is a 1g dsm..red valve cover)....although somewhat rare.

I know the 450's say 450 on the side. I'm guessing the 390's either say 390 or at least it doesn't say 450.

 

K, I just checked, Mine have a number on one side, and MDL450 on the other side.

pink/red is 390's on the autos and the 1.6 dohc turbo(colt motor)
blue/black 450's jdm and usdm 2.0 turbo's(not all the jdm were the yellow one)
jdm rare yellow 550's as it says very rare very rare.

Just making sure i have 450cc, i bought these off dsmtrader and the guy said they were off a 97 gs-t



one side says DENSO, the other says 195500-0610 and on the blue part for the injector clip it says 228. They are still 450 cc right?

 

i am not real sure about the 97 and up ones! They look like dsm 450 ones
