what's the difference between manual and electronic boost controllers
manuel----you have to manually turn the valve to adjust boost.
electronic-you puch or turn ***** to adjust a solenoid that is the valve.
if you got the money go with the electronic unit the abbilities they have over the mauel are countless. But if you are budget minded than stick to the manuel.-pdang

also:
cheaper manuals tend to have boost spikes and manuals are a bit harder to adjust for boost (there's no markings or anything for boost levels, just # of rotations per psi). you also have to adjust boost from under the hood unless you rig up some sort of device to run into the cabin
electronics can also spike if not tuned correctly, which makes achieving and holding a certain boost level hard at some times. you adjust boost inside the cabin.
