Electronic is more accurate, manual is cheaper.

Manual can be equally as accurate as an electronic, and for alot cheaper. The Hallmann Pro is used by many with no problems and stable boost control

An electronic boost controller will typically be much more accurate. There are cars we have built which spool quick and hit there set boost levels dead-on, but that has only been true for a few low boost cars.

With Hp climbing out of sight and traction not climbing fast at all, the benefits of an electronic boost controller which can adjust boost around many parameters is huge for low ET's or Street racing.

Electronic boost controllers can keep the diaphram (Valve) closed longer before it hits desired boost before opening the valve...allowing for faster spool up unlike some manual boost controller that slowly open allowing you to loose some manifold pressure before hitting desired boost levels.

True, though most manual ones are gated now, so they wont creep open till a close to desired boost level is aquiered.

One good thing about elec ones its, Changing on the fly, and overboost protection
