turboXS MBC

holds boost well, would get ebc but too expensive.

Home Depot Compressor Pressure Release Valve
$16.95
Doesn't work very well, hard to tune, spikes like a ****, doesn't hold boost...Might be worth the money for someone with an external WG, but for my internal Greddy WG, it's useless...

BTW,
FS: Manual boost controller, bought for $295, will sell for $15shipped; JDM...

No, this one only works with the JDM Toda VTEC HID Xenon Blue headlight fluid. It's a few bucks more, and I can sell you the JDM Toda upgrade over the Mugen. You'll get better vision distance, and it'll add about 3hp to the wheels; not to mention the 2tq that comes with it. If you get it tuned, you'll get anywhere from 8-9 hp over the USDM version... LMK, I sell the upgrade kits for $395SHIPPED

GReddy performance T.V.V.C. (Trust Variable Valve Controller) manual boost controller.
$30
It works.

I've dealt with a few AVC-R's and profec B's. My Profec-B customers absolutely love theirs and have NO complaints but the AVC-R guys say theirs can be a little confusing but does work well.

160PSI Brass and Stainless steel Air Regulator Valve (adjustable by .1PSI), no spikes, no creep.
$10 bux
Works perfectly.

Search for my post somewhere on here about a custom MBC. It's cake to make and every bit as good as the expensive ones. The post even has purty piktures!

Profec B

works, but need to figure out how to make it hold boost till redline. could be a leak in the lines, but vacuum fine at idle (~22inHg) ? it hits 7, then goes down to 5 (stock wastegate). could be my settings (balance), i dont know. but overall:

Dramier -

So you are still running that bleeder valve setup? Because in your post you said it was a temporary setup while you were waiting on an EBC.

Did you decide to just keep it since it seems to be worknig so well for you? Or is it still an interim mod?

Grainger valve modified for my uses, replaced ball with nylon for faster responce.

Total cost $10.45 8 bucks for my valve, and then a dollar fifty for the nylon ball.. and some tax or somethin..

Works PERFECT, easy to tune, never spikes and always works perfect, i never have to touch it.

I decided to keep it since it works so well. I've had no problems with it, and don't really see the point in spending more money on something identical.
