if you can get one item as state above.... get the intake manifold. a JG Edelbrock manifold. ROughly cost 300dollars. great bang for the buck
I made 400whp & 300ft lbs on a b16 w/stock im and tb.
Cams and gears would be a good benefit and if $$ permitting grab the edlebrock im.

I don't see the point in an edlebrock with stock GSR. That's just me though. I'd go with something like the type R. (skunk2) I dunno who else makes manifolds anymore. Cam gears are cheap, and a good tuner will be able to do well with them.
I was just thinking, I upgraded coolers from a custom 2.5" to a precision 600whp 3" setup and my im from stock to the edlebrock..and I gained 50whp @ the same boost level...all the way up from 9psi to 21psi.

Honestly, for the price I would pick up a Blox Intake Manifold. Do a little research on how these products and their design features will change the performance of your car.

I would probably get type r cams and IM (blox or skunk2).
But i would invest in some traction bars or LSD before going for more power. That's if you don't have any already.

Initial tune was on a dynojet. Went to a dyno day @ my tuners a few months later put down 8 less whp on the dynopak. Then it was RETUNED on the SAME dynopak which netted 450whp.
