I have a fully built 2.0 gsr turbo and was wondering what ignition setup would be the best for my application.

 

im sure stock will hold up fine , but i have an msd digital 6+ and love it .

 

im using a 7al

the digital 6+ is all you have? Any wires, cap, external coil, etc.?? Just want to cover all the bases

 

no, in my eyes, if your gona do the igntion , why not do it all , i got the digial 6+, msd modded cap for external coil, msd blaster ss coil , msd plug wires.

 

how much did that whole setup run you?

I dont even remeber, price everything out at summit , a little under $400 i tihnk though

 

digital 6 plus

 

Stock ignition system. Heat range 8 NGK's gapped to .026". If you arent blowing out the spark in boost, then you dont need an upgraded ignition.

If you are interested I have a MSD 6a, wires, cap and external coil for sale brand new in the box. Pm if interested.

although I dont use the btm features anymore because I've a Hondata 3BD.... actually, I dont anymore! I'm selling everything. *sigh*

Also, anybody have any experiece with Nology wires?

 

nology wires are a waste of money

 

I think I over did it but I'm running the 6btm, ss coil, msd wires and distributor with ngk plugs.

 

msd 6al with 2step ,blaster 2 coil and msd wires

 

MSD 6A, SS external coil , NGK 1283 gapped at .035, NGK Plug wires, and Standalone.

 

msd btm, SS coil/cap, wires

 

&lt;-- msd 6a, blaster 3, and msd cap. Didnt notice any difference after putting it on. Stock works great. Im not to worried tho...i got the setup used from a friend for cheap.
