What turbo are u using on your B18C1??

What turbo are u using on your B18C1??
I looking to go turbo for my 01 GSR, i've done some research but havent found enough answers. So i though i'd get some input from turbo gsr owners. Pls help a turbo noob-e

i got a garret t3/4e 57 trim .63 a/r. this turbo is really nice for the b18c1, starts to spool at the high 2k rpms and hits full boost a tad bit before 4k rpm. i kinda want a bigger turbo now, but too bad the 60-1 has a 4 inch inlet.

Garret T3/T4OE COMPRESSOR SPECS: .60 A/R HOUSING 60 TRIM WHEEL TURBINE SPECS: .63 A/R HOUSING STAGE 3 WHEEL. Sorry about all the caps, I copied and pasted it from a website that had it all in caps.

do you have to notch out your block with the Greddy kit like you do with the DRAG kit?
with the DRAG kit its like a big chunk you have to cut off the webbing.

Straight T-3 ... Same turbo as in the 80's Thunderbird. It's a bit smaller than a stage III turbonetics exhaust wheel with a .63 A/R and the compressor trim is a 60 trim regular T-3.
Full boost (10 lbs) @ ~3500 rpms
258 whp but most importantly
180-190 Ftlbs torque from 3800-7700ish
it's a good turbo for the street/stock internal motor but it's probably good for a maximum of ~310whp It wont' give you the high peaky numbers that the larger ones would but it'll give you lower end torque.
If you do the numbers, this turbo fits the compressor flow charts well with 10-15lbs boost for a B18c1
If you build your motor, the 60-1 hi fi is a monster Compressor with the potential of more than 450+ horses to the wheels. I think Apex-i has a turbo with a t3 exhaust wheel mated to a 60-1 compressor

I'm running the TD05-18G from the Greddy GSR kit. I'm also using the Greddy manifold, the first ~6 inches of the Greddy downpipe then 2.5 inches the rest of the way, custom piping, a 20x11x3 XS intercooler, and the AFC hack.
This turbo is very responsive. It starts spooling around 2400rpm and I have 7psi by 3300 or so. It's really nice for something daily driven but I will eventually switch to something bigger. It's just not capable of producing the big numbers I'm after.

Thanks a lot for the info guys!! I think i'll go w/ this set up: MAxrev mani, custom DP, greddy type 24 I.C., tial 35mm, greddy type-s bov and a t3/t4e 57 trim BUT i can't decide on the a/r. . For now i'll be in the single digits 10 max. any input on this??
