it all depends on how much you are willing to spend and how much power you want to make. what motor and fuel setup do you have??

ever thought of just piecing together the kit. you'd save money and also get parts you want exactly right the first time. if not id suggest the rev hard.

If i was to peice a basic kit together, this is what i would get:

manifold
downpipe
turbo
BOV
WG
IC
IC piping
oil feed
oil return
FMU
missing link

if i wanted to upgrade, i would get
vafc
injectors
intank fuel pump
fpr

if i wanted to upgrade more, i would get rid of
the fmu, missing link, vafc and get hondata.

define how much exactly you want to spend. from there we can start working
stuff out.
but if you want to go with a kit, i would recommend the max-rev kit from 2K_TEG on this board. he sells them for a great price. also, like others have said, the revhard is also another great choice ( more a complete kit than the maxrev)

i recommend you take some time in searching and reading up on all the info you can to find out exactly all the parts you will be needing. the previous post is a very good starting place in piecing together all the parts that you will need.

some additional parts that i can think of right now to add to that list:
-fuel management(hondata, aem, ect.)(personally i wouldnt go with the vafc)
-some type of 3" exhaust would be great(ex. thermal)
-clutch
-gauges(boost, egt, a/f, ect---i recommend something like apexi, greddy, defi)

i have gone with kits before, but id rather just peice a kit together that way i get to choose everything that i want. you could get everything you need used for about $3k.

yep, piecing together would be best. thats what i should have done.
i bought the maxrev kit. im satisfied with my setup, but if i could replace a few parts i would definately get the precision turbo over my garrett. toss out my maxrev manifold for a lovefab or full-race. other than that, im satisfied with the maxrev kit. i believe 2K_TEG (kyle ) is selling them for 2400. contact him and he'll help you out if you decide on maxrev. i believe he might sell the revhard too, but im not sure.

they are alright, i guess. I had a lot of problems with mine. the turbo was leaking oil and the ic piping didnt fit at all. but after i fixed the problems (More $$$) and upgraded my fuel, i made pretty good power.

I wish i could start all over again and get all the $$$ back that I've spent, cause if I did, i would do it all right to begin with.

ive never had a rev hard and dont think i would want one cause they are pretty pricey and not worth it for what you get IMO. save your $$$ and buy a really good kit like full-race

Darton makes good sleeves. Look to spend about $500.00 on them. AFCs are fuel controllers and are not engine management systems.
