I am lost as to what set-up I should get. I was thinking about skunk2's and Koni's, but I really haven't ever heard anythign good about Skunk2's. What do you guys all have? Advice? Let me know!!!

i have skunk2's and koni yellows. works good at the track and rides decent on the street. get the tein's if you want all around performance and autox.

 

tiens are cool but i went with zeal b2

 

get a set of ground control coilovers with ebiach 400 to 600 lbs springs in the front and 1000 lbs springs in the rear with a set of advanced design shocks.

 

if you gonna go all out check out penkse or the moton setups...

if you gonna go simple design a good set of coilovers should do the trick.

Zeal,Tein,Jic,SRR,Sustec, are all awesome units.

for my setup i was thinking about penskes because a friend of my has them on talon but i also like the advance design shocks

 

Well, that is another thing, I want to be able to utilize USDM LCA's on my Civic. I know that with the Teins you need JDM LCA's. Are the Progress coils any good?

 

You'll be good to go with a set of GC & Konis.

 

don't you mean ITR LCA's?

 

To my knowledge, 6g USDM and JDM LCA's are exactly the same. The JDM CTR upper control arms are nifty solid pieces though, unlike the stamped crap that we get.
Oh, and you can't use ITR LCA's on 6g Civics.

my koni ground control setup is AWESOME i can go REALLY low if i so choose, and the handling is smooth as silk even with the stock ground control spring rates ( not at the lowest setting tho )

I use skunk2 w/koni yellow on my street car must admit they a bit rough for the street.

 

i recommend kyb agxs and weapon*R dual spring coilovers or skunk2

 

So I take it that you guys would reccomend Ground Controls over the Skunk2's anyday correct? If so, can I get different stiffness springs witht he kit or will I have to get them afterwards?

 

H&R sports with KONI yellows! best aftermarket set up for the money IMO!!!!!!
handles really really well!!! and rides nicely(if you turn down the konis a little )
