It look's like one of those older DSM turbo's.... 14B???? 8-9 psi????

I heard they work well with the Single cams..

could be an old dsm. if it is it hits boost very quickly and will go higher than 8-9 psi. my buddys talon with a boost controller spools very fast and would be a great turbo for stock bottom end.

doubled-up fins, td04 exhaust housing...i think that's a td04-13g off of an automatic 1st gen dsm.

i found a graph for this turbo and i don't know how to read it.

i was wondering when does this car hits boost and when does it cut off at.
i guess this turbo is a td04 13g as maskednegator said.

No. ALL 2nd Gen turbo DSM's came with a Garrett based T-25. The 1G Eclipses/Talons came with a 14b, or 13g (automatics).

It looks like a 13G. My 14b's compressor wheel didn't look anything like that? Plus, the exhaust inlet looks much smaller than my 14b...which leads me to believe it's a 13G.

jeff</TD></TR></TABLE>sorry dsm guy your wrong, the 13Gs have a completly different WG and exhaust housing setup, this turbo looks almost like a hybrided 14b, because i'm positive the 13G's exhaust housing is completly different
