what sleeves are these?
aebs
"Eagle stroker rods unsure of what part number in specific but I know the rods are longer then stock as well as the piston skirt on the JE pistons.
As for the crank I havent taken it to a machine shop in order to get the actual Stroke of the crank, my guess is the crank may be stock. No damaged journals at all main and rod journals are good."
the guy doesn't even know what hes selling.... doesnt even know if the crank is stroked or not.... saying nothing about custom pistons. buyer beware. Try to score the block itself...
no where near a really good deal, since you can get a sleeved block at any bore you want for 1000$

reason being is that the AEBS sleeves are one piece, sleeves as well. As you can see in the OP's pic, you can see the sleeves are separate from the block guard around it.
you can get a css block for roughly 500~ total, shipping including.

Everyone who has posted so far would never make a good investigator. It's not a css block or aebs. Look at stock sleeve pics closer, it's not what those are.
How can you call anything a good deal when you don't even know what it is ???

I got a question for both of you. Why are you two posting on a thread where a guy is asking for help, just to tell people trying to help, that they're wrong, while appearing to know the answer, and ignoring the whole post in general, thus spamming?
This is why I hate people in general, especially the majority of dip ***** on this forum.
Right or wrong, we helped. You trolled. Thanks for nothing.
The reason I posted is because a bunch of people come in with answers without really knowing what it is. If someone is not absolutely certain what sleeves, or unable to notice specific details in the photo they should not chime in. Wrong answers are worse than no answers. Now what if you say it's a css block, and this guy has problems with it and calls them up?
It's not trolling, it's actually helping extinguish bad information.
With the photo posted its pretty difficult to confirm what the sleeves are or the company that installed them. I'm ok with saying "I don't know". There are tons of Joe local machine shops doing this type of work out there. What I do know from my experience is that they are not AEBS, css or stock b20/b18.

I compared this blocks coolant ports to css, the ones between the sleeves and its a straight drilled hole. CSS has a curve to it.

all other " sleeved " blocks i saw on google are straight machined drilled. If that makes sense..

I posted for exactly the reason Runnerdown said - to explain why the people that are just GUESSING are wrong. You are reading WAY too into my post as I never even insinuated that I knew the answer, because I don't. That's the whole reason I said to "keep quessing". Now THAT is the part where you would have been justified about being butt hurt from my post since that's all you guys were doing (obviously). A little (as Runnerdown said) investigation work goes a long way sometimes and can weed out the BS answers that this forum is notorious for.
To add to that, now the lines are blurred who is actually trolling / spamming. This is why I hate people in general, especially the majority of dip ***** on this forum. Right or wrong, we helped. You trolled. Thanks for nothing.

Im going to try and meet up with the guy sometime this week and snap some clear pictures of the deck and report back. Either way... Its a sleeved block isn't it?....
They are not stock sleeves, see how the cylinder liners contact in between? B16,17and 18 all have aluminum cast in between the liners. B20 are siamesed together but not like the block in the photos. It's a sleeved block but who did it will remain unknown. As for my opinion, I would avoid that block and only buy stuff of known quality from reputable sources.

Is that close-up pic the same block from the original post?
If so, definitely looks like dry sleeves/liners/inserts with a machined block guard.
