it depends on what your egt probe is, just try and match up the threads, etc to the egt probe threads. Hope that helps.

What about for a Autometer EGT probe?

 

like 4-5 bux at Sears for a 1/8 npt tap at Sears

 

Where is the best place to mount the probe? It would be the Greddy if that makes any difference.

 

they didnt have it at either sears around here...just metric and standard threads. no NPT threads

that was the 1st place i looked

 

Lots of people put it in #3 but others perfer #1. Personally I put it in #3, I have the Greddy.

i have a big tap set but their not labeled as pipe sizesor npt sizes their metric and standard i know its 1/8 npt but what is that in standard or metric

 

Hey can some one please tell me which wires go to the probe?? I have the Greddy EGTgauge and that is all I am wondering how to hook it up... I have seen the wiring diagram, and it doesn't tell you which wires go to the probe anyone please..

 

NPT is a standard thread.

 

you got 4 wires, one is constant power, black it ground, one goes to headlight switch ( to turn the gauge light on with the headlight), one goes to accesories...you can leave this one off actually, if not, tap it to the yellow/black wire
