i have benn looking around for a front mount intercool for my turbo project. all these diffrent intercoolers have diffrent sizes. i want to know what is to big to fit in the bumber of a crx. 89 si. (and what is a good size?) i know i can just use a small one from a talon or somthing, but i like the look the long ones.

I use one too, I feel in love with the pic of Jeff's car on the main page of homemadeturbo, his custom intercooler fit sooooo perfect, so about 6 months later I bought one and love it. I have to warn you though, "some dis-assembly required", you have to do a lot of cutting.

 

If you are going the budget way you can't beat the Starion/Conquest intercooler with some minor modification....
