Default what size down pipe 2 use?

i was wondering what size downpipe would be best 2 use.

I was told 2.5" is as big as you can go w/o hitting other parts.

ummmmmmm... 3 inch RedtegLS who said that ? If you want to make big power get a 3inch if you are going moderate a 2.5inch will get the job done just fine!

go 2-1/2" and get someone to weld u an electric cutout in... run it closed and go easy on ur motor, and then open it and let the atmosphere solve ur dumping problems

Wont the 3" DP hit your AC or power steering or something? I know I saw a post like 3 days ago about it. Ah hell, there is probably a million.

the manifold will affect whether or not it hits. i just thought baout that so basically it depends on the choice of manifold. but 2.5" wil be perfect for this app
