I am planning on getting a greddy kit for my 97 civic ex coupe with the d16y8 motor. I will be running somewhere around 6 psi, and the motor has around 9.2 :1 stock compression, so would I need 93 octane, or would 90 octane suffice??

Best to use 93. But its your motor you're gambling with. Save a couple cents now end up coughing a lot up more for a new motor.

I see your in cali, where do you get your 93 octane?!? I can only get 91 because they don't have 93 where I live in the bay area and I thought the rest of california also. Do you use octane booster? Which brand if so?
