Default What is more sleeper?

What's more sleeper, boost with BOV dumped into exhaust or vent to atmosphere? Obviously it is quieter to dump into exhaust but should I let the guy I just wooped know i'm boosting?

Yeah, dump the relief into the exhaust a little ways down. All you hear is the turbo spooling then, no BOV dump between shifts.

No I mean into the exhaust, there is a Cavalier local that has it. And it is past the 02 sensor so it doens't mess with that any.

Sigh, for the last ******* time, no. If he had his BOV dumped into the exhaust the excessive backpressure from the exhaust would overpower the BOV, force it's way into your motor, and if it didn't detonate itself into submission it would make **** all for power.

I haven't done it I don't know that it would do that, I will argue the point however that this is what the guy had set up on his. You can't honestly sit here and argue the point with me of what one guy had on his setup that I saw in person and you have not.

Sure I can. If you believe it would work, I can believe that you don't know enough about turbo setups to differentiate between a wastegate and a BOV. Go ahead, argue physics. Because physics and realism tell me a BOV routed into the exhaust would do nothing but destroy your motor. Yeah, a BOV can be re-routed to the intake side of your turbo to prevent an ultra-rich condition when you let off the throttle in a mass air car, but not the exhaust.
