what manifold is this?
Its a sidewinder and could have been made by any number of people...they're not overly popular because i'd imagine they aren't cheap. The main advantage is that they allow for PS and AC in most cases...

what he said, Been awhile since sidewinders were popular. I think lovefab used to make some nice ones.
They are costly because of the size of the manifold, and i;m sure underhood temps aren't helped at all because of the larger header portion.

No, they aren't cheap because not only do very few people make them, but they also take a lot of time to build i'm sure. Another thing, with the turbo sitting that far off to the side, the welds on the manifold have to be flawless unless some kind of secondary brace is used.
The fact that they retain AC and PS is one of the benefits of the manifold. Otherwise, there would be little reason to build and use a manifold like that...

$4k for a full turbo kit is about right. At least the ones that are reliable and proven.

...thats made with plumbing fittings. That Hytech uses what looks like 16ga mandrel-bent runners, and a Burns stainless collector. And if its 321 stainless, it will take high temps even better that your normal 316 plumbing fittings.

That makes it even better of a deal...those Burn's SS collectors are not cheap IIRC
