Just curious what the loudest but yet quality BOV was...? I plan on using it with the Rev Hard turbo kit on my JDM GSR. Thanks!

P.S. I plan on running between 6-10 psi.

My friend has this on his wrx and that **** is THE ludest bov i ever heard

Just a question why do you want a super loud BOV with your JDM GSR?

 

yup.....the turbo xs is loud, but i like the sound of the greddy type s or the hks ss.

 

turbo xs RFL is def. the loudest. GReddy Type S is the highest pitched most ear shattering one though IMO.

man, i love my type s! it sounds so clean and good, loud yes, but its tight. after i got mine, like 4 other people i know, changed theres to greddy type-s' cuz they too like it. and what you talkin about? all the ladies i know go "oOOooh.....wat's that?" hahaha....

also, i heard them sheepdog bov's are pretty loud? can anyone vouch?

ok this is what you do, you run an ks a greddy and a trubo xs. but you hide two of them like in the pipes next to your intercooler. I am sure you will have the loudest most unique bov sound evar!

hrm. On the three BOVs. What would happen if you moutned three, but kept 2 capped up at a time, and one being used.

Seriously though.. everytime I hear my Type S, I immediatley find myself looking for a green Eclpise or an Orange Supra with a blonde kid driving, screaming out "wHat uP cUUUUUUUz!" as he drives by me with 3 black turbo Civic's in pursuit.. green neons and all

I have no idea what BOV is really has/had, all I know is that nearly all the BOV's in that movie sounded like a GReddy Type S... and it leaves me with that sick feelings

 

Everyone has opinions on a BOV and I have tried almost all of them in the past...I would have to say the best performance and sound with the HKS SSQBOV. You can get the loud and high pitch inserts as well for them (gold and purple) !

The tial is also very very good!

The cheapest BOV with best performance is the 1G DSM BOV. It sounds like a whoosh. Crush the sucka and it will hold upto 20 psi - no problems. Can be had from a junkyard for 5 bux or less sometimes.

Yep that's why i want it. My car looks stock besides the IC and i want that RFL to accompany it.
