so what kind of oil do you turbo ppl use? whats the best oil for my turbo car?

 

i use 10w40

 

I use mobil one synthetic.

I use mobil 1 10w-30 but i am swiching to there 15-50 to see if it wont break down so quick.

Mobil1 10w30 synthetic here. Gonna try the Amsoil next oil change though.

^same here...along with some JB oil additives for better sealing. noticed that my car runs better with thicker oil. butt dyno

mobil1 or castrol is what most people use.
i use mobil1.

 

Mobil1 10w30. I would get Royal Purple if someone sold it locally.

Depending on what season it is,I usually run a heavier oil like a 20w-50 during the summer and 10w-30 in the winter..as for the kind,whatever synthetic I happened to have at the time...castro,citgo,mobil1,amsoil,etc etc.I really dont worry about brand and such cause I change my oil like a ****,its out at 2,000 miles .....Lets just put it this way about brand....THE BEST OIL IS CLEAN OIL

 

Someone told be that the oil you use could make your spool slower too. would there be in difference in 5w30, 10w30 or 15/50 that would effect spool?

same here. i'm really happy with it.

 

I used mobil 1 for a while but its hard to find around here so i started using casrtol syntec 10w40...and i actually like it better. It seems like my oil is always cleaner when i change it. But that could just be my imagination.

Redline oil isn't too shabby either. But it costs more than mobil 1 or amsoil. For conventional oil, I'd use castrol. I just bought some syntec today at walmart. The price is almost the same as conventional oils. Worth a shot.

Since its cleaner, wouldn't that mean its not doing its job as well??

 

Mobile 1 10w30 and Mobile 1 filter too. Switched after I read a review that the Fram fileters I used to use really sucked.
