<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">This is a Custom Built Intercooler Intake Manifold (will fit b16a & integra Type R Heads)The intake manifold supports up to 8 injectors 4 on the top and 4 underneath,if you are only using 4 injectors you can weld up the other existing holes for the other 4 injectors. This intercooled intake manifold was Built by the one and only Randy @ elite motorsports,This intake manifold is designed for a turbo car generating around 500+hp. This intake manifold not only cools the air going threw it but it also cools the fuel, also saves a lot of weight eliminating the actual intercooler itself. It cools so much that the top of the intake builds up moisture you can actully wipe it off!!! Great price they sell for around 1500 dollars thats even if you can get the time for him or someone to make a great Intake Manifold like this...ps will fit in stock engine bay w/ b16a in a crx/civic/integra etc................ </TD></TR></TABLE>

Isn't that a water to air setup? If so, it probably will not 'save weight' as the buyer says, compared with an air to air. It cools the fuel??

That thing fits under the hood??

I think it will work very well.

I just don't see it saving weight as the seller claims- after you add in the fluid, the pump, the heat exchanger, etc... I don't see how its going to "cool the fuel" as the seller also claims. I would also be concerned that it would not fit under the hood. Thats all.

I think it goes down towards the ground when its mounted. the water inlet and outlet are on the bottom of the intake.

ok it doesnt cool the fuel, i doubt each cylinder gets an even volume of air and i wouldnt put that thing anywhere NEAR my car let alone under the HOOD.

interesting and creative though. just not safe.

its a liquid to air intercooler built into the intake manifold and they work really well like that.
