Default What Gauges Are You Running With?

other than wideband, oil pressure, and boost/vac

are there any other gauges that should be used with a boosted setup?

I'm running boost, EGT, oil pressure, wideband, and water temp. Oil temp would be nice, and I'll probably add one when I have some extra funds.

Boost, EGT, and oil pressure. I also have a wideband that I tune with but I have it out most of the time. I have a harness wired into my ECU so I can remove and install it really easily.

I really like having an EGT gauge, especially when doing 15 second wot pulls on the freeway.

exactly what i was thinking

i guess fuel pressure, wideband, boost/vac, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp should be good enough?

is egt necessary even with a wideband?

Stock water temp gauge works just fine, I would spend that money else where.
A oil temp gauge would be much more useful IMO.

Thats already more then you need bro, gauges are most important when tuning.
Not so much when daily driving.

The most important gauges IMO are Widband/Boost/Oil Pressure. Then you can add Oil temp, EGT, Fuel Pressure, Water Temp in that order. If you don't have a wb then the EGT goes to the top of the list. It's harder to use an EGT gauge w/o tuning experience.

I run Oil pressure, boost and Soon a wideband gauge too...
I have the Innovate wideband w/o the gauge and just used the laptop for street tuning when i needed it..

EGT, water temp and oil temp would be nice, but I never ran them.. and I think too many gauges looks like ***

The 3 gauges I always run on built set-ups are Oil Pressure, Boost, and A/F. This is not limited to these... I just think that AF and oil pressure are 2 of the most important ones.
