Default what crank do i use

i am in the process of building a turbo GSR street car. i was wondering if i should use my 1.8l crank, or try to find a 1.7l crank. i have heard good things when using a 1.7l crank.

What gsr motor do you have? B17a or B18c? Cause if you have the b18 you cant even use the b17 crank, rods cause that motor has a shorter deck height.....

Whats wrong with using the stock B18c gsr crank anyway?
