What is the correct thing to do with the breather tube that comes off your valve cover and into your intake (N/A) when you do a turbo setup? I just put one of those little APC type breather filter deals on there, I assume it is not a good idea to be putting boost through that line.
it has been running w/ the filter on there for a year now, I was just wondering if there is a more correct way to do it, maybe an inline check valve?
TIA

Put the APC filter on the valve cover (6.3 WHP gain)

What kind of catch can setup do you have? Run it to a can on its own with a filter, or run it to the can you already have depending on your setup
If you want, just leave it alone. The filter will need cleaned like every oil change.

man i've been running the same filter **** on there too for a while now. The correct way though would just be to put a catch can on there.

i thought you can't really use that on a d-series unless you tap an extra fitting in the back of the block or something.

I'd really like to know what I should do in this case, I can't see the filter on the valve cover as the right answer, but I am not sure I should be Y'ing my valve cover line into the same line coming from my PCV.
any insight?

The right thing to do would be run it to a tube before the turbo so it sucks all that back in like stock.. Its an emissions thing. letting it the way it is now won't hurt anything.

Im in the uk and the legal side is not a problem. Is it ok to remove the pipe from the pcv valve and run it straight to a catch can which blows off under the car. Have a filter on the valve cover.

so say you don't have an intake tube before the turbo?
