what compression piston should i order????? help.
im using a gsr block and a type r head and i need 10.0:1 or 9.8:1 what compression should i order.???????????????

It all depends what you want.... I'm going with 9.8:1 to keep slightly higher compression, but in all reality you could always have a lower compression and run more boost to make up for it.

We are running 10:1 and 28psi looking to go 35psi in a couple of months. I like the higher compression 9:8 or 10:1.

I don't know if there is a particular number, it's all about where you start to lean out and/or knock
I'd say 20 on pump gas is the highest I would go.

no no no no no no i have decided to run 9.8 or 10 already i just need to know since im using a type r head not a gsr how this will affect the cr you know since the combustion chamber is.

Your talking about how much will the Type-R head affect or change your 9-10 compression ratio? If both heads are the same (but we know they are not) as far *** the valve chamber measurements, the compression shouldnt change.
