Lost is black, I already ordered the rims I alway wanted a set....

therealprojeckteg, to my knowledge there were no "correction" numbers set. Even if they were i don't think it would be off by 60hp. Also why would they have correction numbers for me and not for everybody?

adseguy, I ain't gonna blow my motor. I don't give my .bin to everybody who wants it....sorry.

The best way to tell if its really making this kind of power is to take it to the track. Obviously the trap speed will tell whether or not this is a 200whp or 250whp car.

Those are incredible numbers...

It just doesn't make sense to me though. I've seen a lot of SOHC turbo setups, even with larger turbos and a few more pounds of boost not making as much power as you...

What do you think causes your car to have an extra 50 or so horsepower over all the other similar setups? What's your secret?

Those who have seen the .bin, what's the timing look like?

My secret is that the dyno was probably off a few horsepower(20-30hp). I doubt its my .bin because I think my timing is conservative. Also, SOHC_MShue is the only one to see my .bin and I appreciate it if he doesn't spread it to everybody, but I don't mind him talking about it. I do have a very nice exhaust system and there were little things i did here and there to help.

I was just jokin ....nice numbers on that low boost. I just wanted to know total timing at your 10 or 11 PSI ....if that's OK.

yea you have basically a pretty standard step retard. I think more than likely the dyno is off by a little, but its probably very possible that you were making around 210-215whp.

I think if my timing was tuned and my actual tune was a bit more precise, I think i could have gotten 260whp

I dont really think ur motor is in too much trouble with that kind of power. Hondas have came along way since the fmu, afc hack days. \With standalone and a phenomenal tune a stock sohc can run on 250whp for more than a year tilll problems. the rods are toothpicks but they can take a beating.

in that case, ROCK those bad boys !!! as far as all the questions about the numbers...who cares, they are solid, sohc motors are not garbage...one does not have to swap to be fast...one does not have to overbuild there motor to feel safe running it...let the man enjoy his dyno sheet!

I am putting 16" Royal Gunmetal Grids wrapped in 205/40 Azenies on my civic that is not lowered. I am worried that it will look like a 4x4. Hopefully, I wont have to hold them until i get a drop

More than likely you car will look like it sits up high even on 15's with stock suspension. I used to ride around with my slipstreams on stock suspension and my car even looked like a 4x4.

i can just about promise that the high numbers came from a messed up temp sensor on the dyno. we use the same one, and the temp sensor is touchy... (f'd up ground wire)
we had a h22 lay down an extra 60ish whp becasue of it for a run.

fixed the sensor, and the numbers came back in line.

stock should be fine for that much power.

thats because it didnt happen, and either the temp sensor on the dyno is fuct, or the correction multiplier is wrong.
