Default Welded Diff in RWD application? (repost from Tech)

Did a search about welded diffs, obviously, being this is a HONDA board, all came up w/FWD applications.
Being Im 19, broke(for my personal ****), and flat out crazy, Im transforming my del sol in to a twin h22 monster once the funds become available.
For now though, Im going to concentrate on finishing my rear engine setup, and drive that probably through most of next spring/summer.
My question is, what would a welded diff be like when there is NO turning of the axles involved?
The car will be mid-engine, RWD, using an h22 engine/drivetrain, and Civic/Teg front suspension setup MODDED to bolt up to the rear of the car..
All I know is that my dads '01 GMC pickup squeals the **** out of the inner tire coming out of a corner. This isnt how I want to waste 20+ psi, Id rather be tail-out biotch!

the tires still have to turn different arcs=different speeds, so no.

It will work fine. My mustang is very very tight and I know several guys that run spools on the street.. It will work great..

cool rear engine will be welded then, front one...well, maybe Ill jsut let that bounce off the rev limiter, spinning one wheel for a few tenths while the rear one catches up

You'll be fine. Have you given any thought to how your going to make both transmissions run off one shifter?

via a lil adapter that i just made i think itll work GREAT. Ill post pics when I know for sure it works with the rear tranny, which is what its for(so i can keep the H pattern in the shifter for the front engine). Its basically a twin lever system, with pivot points in the middle of the two arms. So that when the shifter "pushes or pulls" the cable forward or backwards, the lever "pushes or pulls" the cable in the same directions, only toward the rear of the car.
two sets of cables can be easily made to bolt onto the stock shifter, just extend the pegs
