I have a 91 civic b16 turbo, tuned with chrome pro. I have a weird issue it with it sometimes.... if i start it and dont give it gas quick enough or it just stalls on its own, it wont start up again for days. Doesnt throw a code, and 1/10 times i reset the ecu it will actually start right up. Now this doesnt happen often, only once in a blue moon where i stall it as soon as i start it.

Is it possible that the motor is flooded? For that split second it was running a ton of fuel got dumped in and in return wont start again till it dries out in there? The fuel pressure guage is still showing pressure in the system....

Other info: obd1 p28, obd1 dizzy, dsm 450s

 

i had this problem for awhile on my old, old, old setup. i would go to start it and if i didnt let it catch right, it would stall, and then never start, but i figured out that when this happened if i would advance the dizzy all the way that it would start up, along with a black cloud of smoke(too much fuel). but i was useing the afc hack on a obd2 car. then i switched to a p28 and it never did it again. sorry i probably didnt help, but at least you know your not alone.
