Default weird sounds from new turbo setup

when i have the clutch in everything sounds normal at idle and driving...when the clutch is out and im driving a whining sound is coming from what sounds like the transmission, my mechanic told me it would go away its just because everything is brand new. anybody ever experience something like this its a pretty distinct sound.

Only time that ever happened to me was when I was very, very low on transmission fluid because it leaked so rapidly and I didn't expect it. Was it just installed?

T-O bearing will make noise when you're pushing the clutch in, while the input shaft bearing will make noise when you're not. A bad bearing will make the sound a skateboard wheel does, although a dry bearing may squeal as you describe. They are $50 or so, and cheap people will sometimes avoid replacing them.

Its unlikely the gear shafts are serperating due to bad bearings, I know from experience that makes a [really cool] supercharger-like whine.

The tranny I had that made that noise had some really bad bearings inside it. With the amount of torque I fed that tranny, the gears would essentially start de-meshing because the shafts would not stay parallel. Helical gears that make noise are basicly bad. Next step is them grinding each other to nubs or sheering apart, along with grinding various shims to hell.

Is the tranny old or previously owned by some negligent fool who didn't run fluid??
