well i took my valve cover off and in the process lost 2 gromnets that go on the vave cover under the bolts that hold the valve cover on. so of course it was smoking out of those 2 holes that were missing the gromnet, so i ordered new ones from honda put them on now the car smokes like a chimmney out of the breather and the downpipe. it started immediately after i put the new gromnets on, so i took the 2 new gromnets off and it stopped smoking out of the breather and exhaust?????wtf why would it start smoking out of the breather and exhaust just by putting gromnets on?? thanx for any input

 

why did you have the valve cover off? sounds like major blow by
