My intercooler is made of aluminum and the muffler shop here couldnt do weld brackets to it at the time. So they made the ugly fugly *** holders that it sits in but it keeps it in place though. I am wonder if i could use a soldering iron and put a bracket on their or would it ruin it. Once again weird question

 

you could use a mapp torch and aluminum brazing rods and try holding it on that way... but you better learn how to do it and practice it first.
