Default Weird A/f gauge?

Okay today while i was searching through a frends stuff i happened to find a a/f gauge. Whats weird is that there is no white wire for the o2. There is a power and ground, then there is a green and orange wire. Anyone know how these a//f gauges are hooked up?

who makes the gauge? it might be wired for using a sending unit. alot of widebands require that you use their sending unit which enables you to datalog and recieve auxillary imputs, etc.

sounds like a narrowband gauge. orange is probably illumination (ex: gauges light up with headlights on) and green is probably signal so you would tap that into the ecu signal.

yes, your o2 signal runs to your ecu. the signal will be removed from the ecu run through the meter then out the meter to the ecu. if you dont have a wide band o2 its useless to hook it up.

while it may be useless it would still work. you would want to splice into the signal wire not cut it completely. then you get a fun light show of bouncing lights. green at wot, red when off the gas. have fun

at least it gives you idea whether you'r running reach or lean. although that's the ability limit of any narrow band. plus it looks cool

there should be some kind of mark on the back of the gauge it self. or if you bought it new, maybe you should read the instruction manual
