when i turn the key it cranks fine but struggles for about 5-10 secs before it turns on. in my case i don't think its the battery. it sounds like its struggling and i have to gas it to get it turn on. any ideas what's wrong?
also when i press on the gas when it's on or when im driving the rpm does a quick drop (like 500rpm drop) before it rises. is this related to the struggle it has to turn on?
i just got my car tuned and for some reason they were unable to lean it out. it was running really rich. i've had some suggestions that it could be my fuel filter being clogged or a fuel pump problem.

 

i have almost the same start up problem but only when car is warm. normally in the morning the start up is great. this was also after i got my car dyno tuned. I dont see it as a problem. As for the RPM dropping at throttle, thats strange. List your build so we can help pin point the problem.

None of these problems occured before the tune. I wonder if it's something I can readjust myself instead of bringing it back to the shop.

 

My buddies car does the exact same thing. When he tries to start it it struggles and then it fires up. Can't seem to figure out the issue, but it doesn't bug him.

 

I'm going to bring it back to the shop b/c the tuner knows what's the problem. As soon as I find out I'll post it. As for the gas response... I don't know if he knows for sure but I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks for the feedback
