Clutch pedal drops to the floor when boosting/ hot - solved
Hello all,
this is my first build and I am having a few issues I was hoping I could get some help with.
First off- I have a new Howe Racing pull slave cylinder to clear my down pipe as seen here-
https://www.howeracing.com/p-7757-cl...-cylinder.aspx
Fluid I am using Pentosin Dot 4 LV here-
http://www.pentosin.net/f_brakefluid.asp
New Nissin Clutch Master cylinder
New Competition Clutch Ironman and pressure plate
When I shift at high rpm with the turbo spooled/in boost, the clutch pedal will lose all pressure and just stay on the floor when I press it. The clutch stays engaged, i.e. I can accelerate even with the clutch pedal on the floor.
I can pull it up with my foot and as I slow down/lower rpm, if I pump it with my foot pressure returns. This does not happen when I drive slowly/ in vacuum.
I see no leaks in the system when I look, and am not losing hydraulic fluid that I can see.
-Am I boiling my fluid?
-Is the pressure plate pooched?
-Any other suggestions?
Thank you very much for any input, this is frustrating to say the least.
