Water temp ?

Default Water temp ?

i have a autometer 4737 eletric water temp gauge.. my gauge just stopped working today and i checked all the wires and everything looks ok... still doesnt work. does anyone know if the sender goes bad? i wired it up on my head

They can go bad, hit up Autometer about it and they should take care of you. To test the sensor I believe you can just put an ohm meter across the terminals and ensure the resistance is changing with the temperature. Autometer should be able to provided you with the specs to test.

Yet another reason to always use direct reading gauges.

my temp gauge does not work cuz its im on obd1 now
