Default Wastegate question...

I remember reading somewhere on here that the tial 35mm wastegate would stick if ran leaded fuel, I tried searching and couldn't find it. anyway I was wondering if this is true and if the 38mm wastegate is the same way?

it will do damage to it with leaded fuel. tial has a spring made for leaded fuel that you have to get.

it's actually the valve. and yes they do sell the different valves if you are going to run leaded race gas all the time. It will also damage the 02 sensor a lot worse, but i don't know if they have 02 sesnor ready for that

I heard that you need to run one of their coated valves if using leaded fuel.. I think that all the other sizes of Tial wastegates already come with the coated valve..

or you could also just get the Turbosmart Ultragate 38mm W/G. It comes race gas ready. Plus it outperforms the tial and is of better quality
