Default Wastegate options

Hey guys...recently I've been running a open exhaust housing on a open ramhorn manifold. I'm gonna be swapping over to a twin scroll housing and make another manifold (divided). I have a 46mm WG right now, my question is....do u think if I split the WG 50/50 it will be ok, or do u think I should sell it and get twin 38mm??? I wanna be able to still regulate boost at lower levels (say 12-15psi) bc I wanna set it up on boost by gear w/out spikes. What r some of u twin scroll guys running and any issues??? Thanks in advance

If you're running lower boost pressures like that, just stick to what you have. there aren't any advantages to it unless you're trying run a large framed turbo. If you plan on using a LARGE framed turbo at lowre pressure like you're stating, going Twin 38mm is a much better control option than a single 46mm. If its a slightly smaller turbo (smaller than GT35R, then stay with the 46mm
