sup guys,
having some trouble with my wastegate. my last turbo set up i had the wastegate vaccum line connected to the turbo compressor housing. now i bought a new turbo and there was no threaded hole for a fitting,to run the line to the compressor housing. so some people told me to get my vacc source from the intake manifold. so i did and now the boost shoots up to 10-11psi when the wastegate spring is set to 8 (but only showed 6psi on last set-up,with vacc source at the turbo compressor housing). is there something messed up with my wastegate,or do you think its a boost spike, since now the vacc source is from the intake manifold and not directly on the compressor housing? wastegate worked fine the last time i had it on.

You want the WG vacuum source closer to the turbo. drill and tap a fitting in the compressor housing

what do you mean how big is my turbo vs my wastegate?
my wastegate is 38mm and my turbo is a t3/t04e 57 trim
