Wastegate elbow
Well my tial wastegate is having a bitch of a time clearing my hood with the blox manifold. It will close, but I know that when I get on it, it will raise and probably put a bump into the hood.
I was thinking about going with a wastegate elbow, but I was told that you will lose horsepower by doing that. Iwas just wondering if anyone had any experience with actually losing HP after switching to an elbow.

Re: Wastegate elbow (Sp00n'd Supra)
I have the same problem. Im concerned with the elbow cracking from the weight of the turbo. I dont see you losing power, maybe a very small percentage of boost control

Re: Wastegate elbow (Sp00n'd Supra)
I got some ES motor mounts, but it should still move a bit. It will clear, but it puts a lil dent in the hood as it is. If it raises it could have some problems. Either way that wasnt the question.
I was wondering if you lose power by going with a wastegate elbow instead of having the wastegate on the manifold itself.

Re: Wastegate elbow (95GSRTT)
you surely wont lose power, but your wastegate will not function as well.
