I'm using 1.5" Electrical Conduit from homedepot for mine 
Paid $1.99 for it, and it hasn't let me down for almost 3 months

...well, I will be using this for my brothers as well as my project coming up next weekend. I have a pipe bender, so that makes things a little easier

Homedepot sells 45, 90, and 180 degree bends, making it all even easier
