Well I was boosting the other day and when I slowed down I noticed my wastegate making a lot more noise. Later when I popped my hood I noticed one of the bolts that holds the wastegate to the manifold were gone. I hope I can just replace the bolt and its not stripped as it came out.

 

i had one vibrate it's way out.. and fell onto the powersteering pump... luckily i wasnt going very fast when it did that.. and i was able to find the bolt...

as dustin once told me.... tighten those things down tight!!!!

 

I just checked and low and behold the bolt was hidden on the ac compressor. I just torque that SOB back on...teach him to come loose! Hehe. Thanks bro.

The four studs holding the turbo onto the manifold?

Yeah, all FOUR blew off. The turbo was just chillin on the DP, making damned near 0 boost. I'd never had my car on open headers, but by God was it loud!
