wanna run HIGH BOOST...Help!!!
ok...i backed out of the H22 swap....(gonna sell it and start over)so i'm building a boost motor this winter...i just bought a T3/T4 Turbonetics turbo..
what motor is best? i wanna run around 20lbs next summer...what do i need to do to the motor to accomplish this???
i was thinking....a B18B..resleeve it..85mm pistons(9:1cr)....eagle rods,block girdle,and do some sort of turbo cams with Port and Polished head,valve job,and better retainers...any other ideas???
i'm also gonna run some sort of hondata with big injectors like 550cc's?? do i need to get a different manifold? like JG or Skunk2? what about ignition???
someone throw some ideas at me....i wanna run 11's on drag radials next summer

20 psi? you're kidding... right?
Get a GSR swap, hondata & thicker head gasket w/ that turbo. This should net you a high 11 sec pass. With PROPER tuning, i.e. wideband & dyno, that is.
BTW... stock internals

damn 20psi for a daily driver? ummm i think your expectations are alittle to high buddy... but don't worry H-T members will help you out (atleast i will) hehe..

---- sounds great to me. Look into web custom cams for turbo. skunk2 is also releasing their new linup of their turbo cams if you wanna wait. I would personally take the Skunk2 IM over the JG. Get a thicker head gasket. you will probably need larger injectos than 550cc. Hondata is the way to go, just find a really good tunner and a shop that is confident to push your car over 20psi on their dyno.

send a really large lump sum of money to Importbuilders and have them make you a really fast car. heheh just a thought

thanks man...i got a guy around here who is gonna build my motor...then i just gotta find someone to tune it
