VS Racing?
I dont post much but I do read a lot on this message board. I read a post the other day about VS Racing that didn't exactly please me. I was going to bring my business to him but now I'm not so sure. What happened to the post? Is VS racing a reliable source of parts and engine building or have I been misled for the past 6 months?

Well, from what it looked like, Viren wasn't really argueing any of the accusations about his work or the shop? I'd think that if anything was untrue he'd want to clear his name. Is it possible he was really just a big lie? It seems many people had problems with him that were eventually resolved, but problems that shouldn't happen to begin with. He said he was going to post pics. of his shop and everything today, but he didn't. I hope he doesn't just up and leave with everyones money! Someone in dallas should go to his shop and check it out. Anyone?
Oh, here's the link in case anyone didn't read it and is wondering what is going on.

you can't goto a shop that doesn't exist
Thats why all his local customers have been met at a gas station, parking lot, and he met me at the mall before I knew the truth.
I'm waiting for pics

Re: VS Racing? (Foozball26)
I ordered a few things from Viren last week. My first order from him ever. Then I read on the message board about him misleading people....I was thinking to myself **** did I just get punked like others....But then he called me today to comfirm my order was shipped out and that I should get them within the next few days.
So far so good...I have no complaints yet but I'm sure you will hear it if I don't get my goods. Either way I will keep you guys updated.
Holding my breath hoping not to turn blue....

Just because Viren and I are "partners" leaves no exception to the fact that he AIMs to please. Everyone has made mistakes, but as far as I know, he has corrected every single one of them.
I have done about $5k worth of business with him, and no problems what so ever.

Wow, I can't believe it. I have nothing to complain about, but I am very concerned cause there were a few guys who said their injectors weren't what they ordered and I got 72lb CPR's from him months ago that I haven't installed yet. Know I'm worried that they aren't the right ones as they came just in a ziploc bag. No box, no packing, no flow chart. At first I thought they might be used, but after looking at them, there wasn't a nick or scratches or anything like they had been installed. I just thought that maybe he had them tested and never repackaged them. His rep was too good to question his practices.
Is there any way to tell that I have true 72lb CPR injectors? Should I just send them out to get flow tested?

Re: VS Racing? (Tinker219)
I gave my B16 block to him to get sleeved at GE and then bored and honed by him or his "shop". It was kind of funny, when I drove up to Garland/Dallas from Houston I went to the address that was listed on his website. When I got there, expecting to see a shop with VSracing on it, it said Mailbox Etc.. I guess I should have gotten the clue when I read P.O. box on his website, but thought he may be in the area anyway since his P.O. box was there. When I spoke to Viren, he said the shop was on the other side of Dallas. I thought this was kind of strange to have a P.O. Box on the opposite end of the area in which you are located. But, I can understand why he would list that as an address other than deception. Could be for preventing theft and reducing costs which would be concerns of having an actual facility.
I think basically he is a nice guy and seems to be pretty straight forward, though this will be my very first time doing business with Viren. Viren does not have any of my money, but he does have my block. I just hope this talk on H-T hasn't driven him away, leaving those like me without an engine or money already given to him.

Re: VS Racing? (maxim)
aaah, here we go again. Point is, all of us in dallas, pretty much knew what was going on, but again, there were so many people here that kinda got on to his stories, and we felt like, there was no use to trying be up about it and uncover his stories. I helped most of you guys that was having some issues with built motor that he did for you guys, I even drove 12 hours round trip to help a guy out for nothing, I didn't do it for money, because I did not get any but I just want to help his customer. And I have seen some of the works that VS did and honestly, I wouldn't even handed my car for an oil change to one.
All around, business and money aside, Vireen is an okay guy, but he got caught and wrapped up in too many stories, and I don't care how good you are or can be, you'll get stumbled and fall. End of stories.
Perception is only a perception and eventually it will kill you. That's all I wanted to say.

Re: VS Racing? (Flamenco-T)
The main reason i never made much of a point to let this all out is because he seems to take care of his customers for the most part. The thing is, nobody would be sending him motors to build if they knew him! It's all based on deception and that's not right. It may make some of you feel better, maybe not, to know that viren has absolutely nothing to do with the built motors. He claims stoid does all the machine work and that he himself does the assembly. Well, I talked with brian at stoid racing yesterday and he said he does all the assembly and everything there at his shop. I'd feel better about the matter knowing that. Stoid isn't an awesome machine shop, but he knows way more that viren does! I guess it shouldn't really surprise anyone that he lied about that as well. Fact of the matter, anyone who deals with him is dealing with someone who's full of lies and you'll never be able to believe anything he tells you. Take that how you want....

Re: VS Racing? (tony1)
Well, that does make me feel better. From the info that you(Tony) have given along with Stans info, I would say I feel much better knowing that stoid is doing the work. Though, is Stoid a reputable engine builder? I only know of a few here in Houston, but figured I would get it all done up there for convenience sake. I don't believe the engine has been delivered back to Viren from GE yet, so I think I still have some time to consider/reconsider getting my block bored and honed up there.

I wouldn't take an engine to stoid, but if golden eagle is doing your sleeves the viren is just the middle man and you should be alright. I'd definitely have the assembly done somewhere else!

I'd find a local shop in houstons that you trust for assembly and machine work.
I wouldn't go to Stoids, just my $.02

Re: VS Racing? (1FastEF)
I have purchased over $5000 of stuff from viren over the past months without a single problem. I sent him my block and head to have done built and it looks great. Whenever I had a problem or question he was there to help. I hate all these people jumping on the hate wagon that have never dealt with him personally.

Viren bought some parts from me yesterday and is having me drop ship them to customers. He is still delivering parts and taking care of his customers as far as I know.

if u decide to have the block built in houston contact Randy(mochanic) he has assembled a good amount of the fast motors down in houston.
Seriously guys, viren is a super nice guy and will try to take care of you. he just has a problem telling the EXACT truth!

i have said it before, and i will say it again, in the past year i have spent over $5k with Viren, and i have had ZERO PROBLEMS, and i have bought a lot of stuff from him, from GE sleeving, to Injectors, AEM EMS, clutch kit, gaskets, flanges, axels, and lots of other stuff.... to be honest, i could care less if he ran the business out of his mom's boyfriend's cousin's basement, he still has great prices and great customer service

Re: VS Racing? (b18bturbo)
Thanks guys(Chris, Stan, Tony) for the info, I will most likely just get the block bored and honed down here at Mocanic then. I also need to get the head ported and milled, so its good that I can get everything done here in Houston.
I have nothing against Viren at all, after all I have not really had any history with him, so I am no one to judge. I just want to assure everything is done right the first time.

Re: VS Racing? (b18bturbo)
I bought over $500 worth of fuel stuff from Viren and he kept great communication with me and had the items to me in one piece. Although, like Symba said previously about his 72lb CPR injectors, I have to truthfully say I am a little concerned if the 75lb CPR Injectors I ordered are really 75lb. They were sealed in individual bags but no flowsheets which make the world of difference in this situation.
Viren does seem to take care of his customers so maybe he can find a way to assure us about the injectors?
I'll still definitely do business with him on parts when I need something unless he gives me a reason not to. I doubt he would, but it'll be a grim day if a reason comes up.
Till then, ordering parts from Viren @ VS Racing
..at least for me

I have spent about 12000 united states dollars to him the past year, YES, TwelveThousandDOLLARS via my CC and I am in Europe. So I have to trust way more than you evey time when I order. I had not an single problem with Viren which is worth to talk about.

Just updated: within 5min of posting my concern about my injectors, Viren sent me stat sheet of 75lb injectors including the part number. The part number matches my injectors here at home.
