vortech question

I have a si vortech kit. i was wondering if i got a b18 block with my b16 head would the vortech kit still fit. i guess my only question is the b18 longer or taller in any way? would the shaft be long enough?

the shaft i think would be but the mounting bracket that goes to the tranny might not work because the block hight is taller on a b18 motor

not shure, i know if you search you can find a pic or actual demensions on the deck high on each motor, but i want to think its almost an inch i think.
