How can you know for sure what ratio a Vortech fmu is?I bought one from a freind.It is black in color.He said it came w/a drag turbo kit a year and half ago.I took it apart to see if anything was marked on it and didnt see anything.Most FMU ive seen have been blue in color.

measure the disk inside (diameter). it's probably 12:1 or 10:1.

 

My 12:1 was black. What's the part number stamped ont he bottom? Sometimes you can tell by looking at that.

 

I had a black one too.
