my dads rsx use to shake when we get in to boost then found out one tire was super badd, bolded, camber, flat, all the wires coming out of it etc....threw the stock wheels on ..drives good now!

Sounds like clutch look at the tach and the speedo if the tach is moving fast and the speedo is staying the same then its your clutch more than likely. If they seem to be moving at about the same rate then I dont know what it could be

So it turns out that the passenger side axle is popping in and out of the trans as the wheels spin!! also, the ball joints are raised a bit especially on the drivers side making contact with the axle!!!
Ordered new axles and ball joints and currently looking for a new clutch setup too. Thanks a lot guys for the input. I will update soon as i am done fixing the axle and ball joints.

Not sure if this'd help, but on my 99 Si w/ Greddy turbo had shake/jerking problem whenever the obd2 sensor went bad. I had it put on month after I got the car new, in 99, and for some reason I was able to boost it happy for good several runs at the track and the car would start to jerk/shake every single time I pushed the boost..., shut off the motor, restart, works fine for several runs, and repeats... Talked to greddy and they replaced like 3 sensors, the problem goes away for bout' few weeks, repeats again...

Turned out relocating the sensor farther away from original location did the trick. Apparently, some fuel inefficiency caused the sensor to clog up or something... idk, but ended up selling the kit and moved onto CTR NA set-up. Assuming your year's around 01, thought this might help. Good luck!

Ob2 as in crank flux, or typo for O2 sensor?

I'm betting it may also be a slipping clutch in the OP's case. In the vid you can see when it shakes, the rpm's shoot while the mph's drop slightly. The clutch doesn't hold HP, it holds torque, and that drastic change during spool up can put it over the top.

it's obdII sensor, was told by shop, which was originally located near the throttle body, small rectangular white plastic piece(1.5" x 0.75" ish) with 1/8" femal/male type of plug with rubber o-ring around the male plug part. Apparently there's some type of generic, not from greddy, adapter/relocator to replace it.

suspension has been upgraded as much as possible. I have a quaife in there and poly motor mounts as well. I am thinking that since i have dunlop dirreza star specs in the fronts, which are summer tires could be the issue?
I am currently looking at what street radial to get to see if its wheel hop or something else.

the issue is that you say you peg the throttle when in boost at least on 6ga thats what you said.

Good eye, i watched the video a few times to see what your talking about. the mph def stays still while the rpms shoot up and the shaking happens

a cv not engaged by the trans would def. cause all the symptoms. The shaking being the unsupported, unbalanced CV spinning and maybe even the LSD trying to grab.

The jerking probably starts to make the clutch slip from the jerk in power due to the axle issue

if the axle is broken, unless he has a spool, the car will not move.

looks like its happening around 88mph which could mean the car is trying to time travel. it would explain the shaking.

the video was after i put in new balljos and axles. Shake is still there def not as violent as it was also in the video, when it started to shake i let go of the gas for a quick second and got back on it and it went just fine into boost. I am going to switch to nitto nt01 soon and see what happens. Hopefully its not the clutch cuz thats going to suck major ***** =(

Did you remember to install the pilot bearing? I have seen all sorts of clutches slip because that was not installed.

i doubt it's the clutch. the frequency of the vibration is more like a drive shaft.
did it do the vibration before the five lug?
and that axle does not look new
