Valvetrain comparison
I have a b20 bottom end built, looking to get my block sleeved in the near future. My head is stock and I am also gonna build it very soon. I just noticed that Brian crower is a lot cheaper than other popular brands like skunk2 etc. I know crower has been around for a while, just wondering if they are good cams, good quality etc, or is the price the only difference. Thank u
avoid "turbo" specific cams. they always seem to disappoint in the top end power department. if you want something a little more aggressive than OEM choose their stage 2 n/a cam. im sure it will spank their turbo grind and the OEM cam in power.
brian crower or crower cams/valve train is good stuff. you wont have any issues using those.

No need for "turbo cams". just stay with the NA OEM. Stage II NA cams like Skunk2 are made for larger turbos (61mm & larger). Not the run of the mill T3/T04 setups. Stick to the OEM
x2. I ran OEM type r for a while and they were great with my 35r. when I went with the topmount and GT40R i put in all motor VTEC killers and they have done awesome but def not good for street driving!!! hahahaha. everyone i know who runs turbo cams either has or is switching to GSR or type r OEM's
Recently a few "Brian Crower" cams have been snapping. Some people think they got a large batch of bad steel, or brought some **** cams out of mothballs.
"Crower" NA cams are usually what people use.
