valve springs and retainers?

Default valve springs and retainers?

i have crower dual valve springs
and my ? is can i use the stock retainers

i pretty sure it ll work but i want to be positive

i have a b18b non vtec with crower turbo cams and im planning on revving at around 8,000 rpm

im planning on putting the cams in next week with the springs but ill have to wait if i have to get retainers

Retainers are very important, and disaster could happen if one of them failed. If you're opening up your head and doing some work just change the retainers too, they're not that much money.

Some guy on the board blew his motor a few months ago when a stock retainer broke on his H22. It dropped a valve and ruined his motor and turbo.

I'd get retainers if I were you
