what is needed to do the vafc hack on an obd2 car. is it the same as with an obd1 which is just the injectors and the crx resistor box. will i need to do anyhitng else? thanks for any help

use the pinout and wire it up

 

afc, resistorbox, and injectorclips unless you want to spend time hacking up the obd2 clips. i would also recommend an msd btm to retard timing a little under boost, but it's not necessary. you will more than likely get a cel for baro sensor, but it won't affect anything.

it also depends what you go with...

dsm injectors = resistor box + obd-1 clips + vafc + (4) injector seal kits & boring the seals out

lucas, rc, etc = obd-1 clips + vafc

 

Out of curiosity what is different about the OBD2 injector clips?
I'm OBD1 so havent seen them.

 

alittle off topic but where can i send my injectors to get cleaned and ballanced? dsm 450's... got em from the scrap yard fo FIVE dollas y0... im so 1337

 

Yo can send them to RC Injectors. I think the turn around time is 1week
