Using DSM's w/o the pintle cap
This cant be as critical as I'd thought, the injector doesn't use them for mounting or alignment, more of just a protective measure. Since nobody seems to be able to get new pintle caps for them and instead of using crazy glue or something to make them strong just not use them. ???

I broke a few off a set I did, I used them without problems.. Like you said, they are for protective measures only
